Brett, a fishing enthusiast and self-proclaimed insurance nerd, feels most at home when he is on the water with his wife, Teeci and their 4-year-old son. He considers himself a team builder and has enjoyed developing the Erb and Young team alongside his brother, Taylor, and their partner and friend Rod.

Rod, a former professional golfer and Michigan native, started Erb and Young 7 years ago with his passion for sales and professional development. Outside of his work, raising his two kids with his wife Susan has been the most humbling and rewarding accomplishment of his life.

Taylor Young

Chief Operating Officer

Taylor, a UCF basketball grad and Florida native, enjoys boating and weekends outdoors with his wife Pinky and their two long-haired dachshunds, Yeti and Reese. He believes in the power of long-term relationships and that happy employees create a better customer experience.

Jessica LaPlante

Born and raised in Melbourne, FL, I have over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry, specializing in relationship management, team leadership, and delivering top-tier client service.

Beyond the conference room, I’m a mentor, problem-solver, and culture-builder—passionate about developing talent and creating opportunities for growth. Insurance isn’t just my career; it’s a family affair, with two of my daughters working alongside me in the industry. At home, I juggle life as a proud wife and mother of four daughters (three of them teenagers—so I’m no stranger to negotiation and crisis management).

When I’m not leading teams or strategizing client solutions, you’ll find me out on the water—boating is my favorite escape. Whether it’s strengthening client relationships, empowering my team, or shaping the next generation of insurance professionals, I’m committed to making an impact.
